2 Sisters Scunthorpe in hunt for 200 extra workers to help to feed the nation

One of Britain’s biggest food manufacturers with a major base in Scunthorpe is appealing for new workers as the country eases our way out of lockdown.

Poultry producer 2 Sisters Food Group, which employs more than 1500 people at its facility at Rams Boulevard, Foxhills Industrial Estate, Scunthorpe, is keen to help people who are looking for work following the Covid-19 pandemic.

There are more than 200 positions currently available at the plant, in a number of different departments, with varied shifts and part time options, these include quality assurance, label checkers, machine minders and filleters.  

Basic weekly starting pay is £400 with the possibility to earn up to £550.

Scunthorpe Senior HR Manager Diane Pinder said: “There are some great opportunities available and we have a great track record for training our people with many success stories of personal development from shop floor to senior management, so we’d really like to hear from as many people as possible.”

Privately-owned 2 Sisters employs 15,000 colleagues in the UK and processes one-third of all chicken consumed in the UK, is the largest ready-meals producer and makes Holland’s Pies and other bakery goods. 75% of the UK population eat its food every day.
