First female Bishop of England visits Matthew Walker

Our colleagues at Matthew Walker welcomed The Bishop Of Derby – Rt Rev Libby Lane (England's first female Bishop), Area Dean/Vicar of Marlpool & Heanor – Rev Karen Padley and Lay Chair of Deanery, Mr Brian Parker on a visit to their factory.

The visitors were interested in the history and community links with the local area. 

Anil Ahir, general manager, hosted the visit which included a history of the business, tour of the factory and a taste panel in the development kitchen of their wonderful puddings.
