2 Sisters Food Group Ltd take sustainability, including food waste management very seriously. We have committed to and made wide scale structural changes across the company with all Health and Safety Managers evolving into (Safety, Health & Environmental) SHE managers to help drive the environmental and sustainability agenda.
We have recently partnered with IEMA to help develop and improve a more sustainable and environmentally friendly practice throughout our processing sites. Making the senior management team in each site responsible for delivering environmental improvements including food waste reduction.
All waste from 2SFG manufacturing sites is removed, recorded and processed under the control of Amber Foods, another division within the 2SFG group. This way, we have full control over all aspects of waste management, including food waste distribution.
